(Caution: chemical fume hood may not provide protection from highly toxic i.e. LD < 50 mg/kg or highly reactive materials. This kind of operations must be carried out in a Glove box or other tightly closed system). In case there is a high risk of fire, the fume hood should be equipped with fire extinguisher.
